Welcome to The Vernon Journal. This site serves as a tool to communicate our experiences living and working with the Akha Hilltribe in Northern Thailand. We are Foursquare missionaries living in an Akha village, learning the Akha Language, and partnering with an Akha Foundation. Our vision is to serve the Akha in an holistic ministry to their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. This website contains only a portion of our communications about living with the Akha.
