You may know Sichuan for its spicy food. Or maybe as the home to pandas. But Sichuan has much more to offer. In May 2006, I backpacked for three weeks here. This timeline chronicles my travels day-by-day. It still doesn't do justice to the amazing experience I had.But for the faint-of-heart and people with less patience for long, bumpy bus rides, this timeline may be the next best alternative to seeing this southwestern province in China in person.
