John D. Rockefeller was born July 8, 1839 inRichford, New York. Living for 98 years, John was and is still considered a very influencial man. I chose this man for my project because I wanted to learn more about him. I knew a little about the Rockefeller Centers and how rich he was. I actually thought of him as a very stuck-up and full-of-himself person who didn't care about anyone else. Even though he is considered the richest man of all time, I found out he did care about others. I learned that he gave a lot of his wealth to schools, charities, medical centers, funds, and his family. I wanted to also find out how he got so wealthy.
