There were many events that caused the war we now know as the Great War or World War I. Many countries, such as France, Germany, Russia, Great Britain, Italy, Prussia, and Austria-Hungary, got involved because of alliances between nations. Many held obligations to assist another nation in time of war which caused a chain reaction, thus leading to the world's demise. This is insight on a specific event where a nation decides to take revenge for their loss bringing about higher tension amongst them all.
