Throughout the United Sates history, wars, and battles within those wars, have emerged to form what became known as America. These battles, some of great proportion, and yet others of little magnitutude, all have formed what still stands firm on the shores of the grandest nation in the world. They have termed the U.S. as what it is and what it will bring forth in the future. Perhaps the greatest of these wars was the Civil War, it crept into the hearts and souls of men of all ages and formed a division between the North and the South, which came to be known as the Yankees, and the confederates.
