My timeline will be showing the life and times of Bessie Smith. The time span that this timeline will cover will be when Smith was born to the end of her life when she passed away. It will include all the interesting facts that happened to her and around her during her life. I choose to do a timeline on Bessie Smith because she was one of the greatest Jazz singers of her time and I wanted to learn more about her and how she became interested in Jazz and singing as her career. She helped influence Jazz as it is today so I wanted to find out more on how she accomplished that.
