As he had promised, Hitler had plans to make Germany powerful again. It had become apparent by this time the the League of Nations was weak and was limiting Germany's progress. To escape the limitations imposed on Germany by the League, Hitler simply left the League of Nations, refused to pay reparations, and began building his military back up.
